Lovely! Lace tablecloths, cut glass water glasses, chargers. Such a welcoming atmosphere. There's a comfy couch in the room where you sit to wait for your friends - no awkward standing around! There's also a room in the back for larger parties (10-12?). Probably ought to reserve that. The food is obviously fresh and it's delicious. The sandwiches frequently come with a cup of soup and a salad. My friend and I had lunch, but they're open for breakfast. The servers are attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend for ladies, especially. Remember, closed on weekends!

This place has never disappointed. The dessert selection is always something to look forward to after eating their one of a kind mushroom soup served on Fridays. With their extended hours there's no reason not to stop by and have some of the coldest ice tea and the best banana pudding in harlingen.

Prepare for relaxation and great service. THE food is great also. The waiting room is comfy to begin with. My niece Loretta and daughter, Emily, treated me to sandwiches, salad, mixed fruit, and lemon ginger tea. Great old fashioned table etiquette, with silverware, place settings, and chargers. A purse hook by your side . WOW, what a treat. Thank you sweeties.

First experience was great. Food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. It’s such a homie and unique atmosphere as well. Place was clean and well kept just wish there was a bit more parking. I had the broccoli and cheese soup to start off and the Sriracha Chicken on the flatbread with the Quinoa salad...very delicious! The iced Jamaica tea was a great pairing since it was fresh and not too sweet. So I’ll certainly be going back but will hold these beginning standards and hope for the great experience again.

Wonderful cozy place for lunch. Staff were incredibly friendly and service was very quick. Had the gobbler sandwich and it was awesome. I had to skip the cheese and bacon for health reasons, but it was still amazing. The croissant was so soft and flaky. The minestrone soup was full of veggies and the pasta salad was one of the best I've had. Also the carrot cake and kahlua cake were outstanding. I'd recommend giving this place a try if you can.

Today was my first visit to this charming gem in Harlingen, and it certainly won’t be my last. Tucked inside a quaint and welcoming little house, stepping through the door felt like walking into a warm and cozy home, with the hostess greeting us warmly. We sat in one of the back rooms, and the ambiance transported us straight into a romantic tea party, surrounded by vintage decor that perfectly suits the place’s name. The service was attentive and prompt, and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I had their famous chicken salad sandwich, paired with a nutty salad—both comforting and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was like a warm hug for the taste buds, hearty and full of flavor. What made the experience even more special was the owner personally greeting us, making us feel truly welcome, and tempting us with the dessert menu—a weakness of mine! I couldn’t resist the lemon lush: fresh, citrusy, and heavenly fluffy. Every detail of today’s visit was perfect!

Great place for a low-key lunch. The decor is a little kitchy but tasteful, the vibe you get when walking into your grandma's house. Very warm and inviting. Every time I've been here I've had good service and have never had a long wait time. The soups they offer vary by day. Their portobello mushroom soup is to die for! They offer a variety of sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads, oh and dont forget to try some of their desserts!
